How does the Conference work?
The Vincentian Conference meets periodically for the formation of its members, to plan its action and to analyze the "cases" that arise.
Whenever a request for help arrives, a team of at least two elements is appointed, who are in charge of monitoring the case.
The first step is a visit to the person or family to learn "in loco" the difficulties that affect them, check their income and expenses, and assess the type of help they need.
It is important to emphasize that our main mission is to promote the dignity and integrity of those in need. Material aid, which we often see, is only a means to a much more important end.
The material help we offer is mainly clothing, food, medicines and the loan of some orthopaedic material.
The Conference never gives money, it only offers or helps in the acquisition of basic necessities.
