CRIAÇÃO DE HORTA SOLIDÁRIA

Institution Opportunities

Description

This project aims to create a space for union and sharing in the community, providing moments of leisure and active recreation that promote physical and mental well-being.

Maria Cardoso's Solidarity Garden is an initiative that seeks to combat depression, isolation and loneliness, but, above all, it is a direct response to the problem of hunger. With the production of organic vegetables, the project aims to support those who are in situations of extreme vulnerability, offering the opportunity to grow healthy food for themselves and for those who need it most in the community, but who cannot grow it.

Here, not only food is planted, but also bonds of solidarity and human dignity.

It is part of the creation of a project from scratch, which already has the support of Professor Mariana Mota, from the Instituto Superior de Agronomia, and the Hortas Lx initiative.
