Institution's Mission

The Association of Retired Friends of Leça da Palmeira is a Private Institution of Social Solidarity (IPSS) dedicated to promoting the well-being, inclusion and quality of life of the senior community. As an IPSS, we are committed to acting with social responsibility, transparency and dedication, putting people at the center of everything we do.<br<brWe develop cultural, recreational, training and social support activities that seek to combat isolation, strengthen autonomy and foster healthy coexistence among our members. We create a welcoming, safe and participatory environment on a daily basis, where each person is valued and encouraged to maintain an active and full life.<br<brOur work is based on principles of solidarity, cooperation and proximity, contributing to a more cohesive, humane community that is attentive to the needs of all.
