Institution's Mission
The Dr. António da Costa Leal Children's Center, located in the parish of Santa Clara, in the municipality of Lisbon, is a bet by the Union of Portuguese Mutual Societies (UMP) in the management of social responses.<br<brThis Nursery arose from the urgent need diagnosed in the territory to create responses to support early childhood, so the Union of Portuguese Mutual Societies (UMP) has maintained, since 2016, with a high sense of responsibility and social duty, the commitment made to families to welcome their children and ensure their well-being and meaningful learning.<br<brIt has a capacity for 88 children, from 4 to 36 months, and is open from Monday to Friday. It has the support and commitment of a team of qualified and experienced professionals, prepared to provide, through individualized and careful care, the integral development of children, in an environment of joy and safety.<br<brThe spaces have adequate conditions to meet the developmental, comfort and safety needs of children. They are organized with material and equipment appropriate to each age group and also have an outdoor space, which contributes to the harmonious and happy growth of children.<br<brActivities are carried out daily that meet the needs and interests of children. For the planning of these activities, the age groups and characteristics of the children are considered, as well as the importance of working on the different areas of development.<br<brLocated in a pleasant green and quiet environment, the Dr. António da Costa Leal Children's Center also enjoys the privilege of being inserted in an area that allows a harmonious marriage between Lisbon's urbanity and rurality.
