Institution's Mission

FAP no Bairro promotes the integral development of children and young people living in social neighborhoods, promoting social inclusion, equal opportunities and strengthening the personal and social skills of the participants. Our work focuses on three fundamental axes, highlighting social integration and citizenship, through the encouragement of the active participation of children and young people in the community. The mission of FAP no Bairro is based on being a reference in the attempt to solve social problems in the region, with the support of its partners and attracting higher education students so that they with their skills and solidarity and humanistic spirit promote the resolution of such problems, namely in risk groups such as children, young adolescents, the elderly, people or families with serious socioeconomic, cultural and health needs. <brIn the Carriçal neighborhood, FAP no Bairro has been a reference in the mobilization of children and young people, guaranteeing them opportunities for healthy growth and involvement in structured activities.
