Institution's Mission

St. Francis is a Catholic Church whose mission is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, celebrate the sacraments, promote charity, form disciples and build the Kingdom of God on Earth, living love for God and neighbor.<brThe church of S. Francisco and the remaining areas of the old convent are classified as a National Monument and are an important tourist and cultural center. <brIn parallel with religious activity, the church organizes, promotes and hosts cultural events of great importance, with emphasis on the FIOE-International Organ Festival of Évora.
