Institution's Mission
The CPAS-Centre Portuguese Underwater Activities is the oldest diving school in Europe. A non-profit institution, its main objective is to teach the practice of recreational diving, having a whole set of archaeology dept, nautical recreational school, ecology, as well as the Municipal Museum of Underwater Life and Multidisciplinary Submerged History, which allows the coexistence of 3 museum nuclei: Underwater Archaeology, Marine Biology and Diving Equipment.
